MOKWHEEL
OBSIDIAN STEP THRU LAUNCH & BRAND OVERVIEW
INTRO
Our 2 commercials and photos for Mokwheel would be based around capturing the true modern outdoor lifestyle. Our Obsidian launch video would highlight all the important elements of the bike while following the story of a couple exploring the outdoors, and finding fulfillment through fresh air, time spent with each other, and cultivating a healthy lifestyle. Our second commercial, the brand overview would be used to showcase all the 7-8 various bikes in different riding scenarios to show the variety of models Mokwheel has.

APPROACH
Our approach to this project is to create x2 60 sec. commercials to convey the authenticity and style of the brand to the audience, as well as highlight bike features. This would be done with a story about a young man and woman getting outdoors and exploring nature.
We believe we’d be the perfect fit as a production company for this project, as we’ve done many commercials for e-bike companies in the past as well as short films and narrative work that revolve around the same tone and feel as the brand values of Mokwheel.
OBSIDIAN STORYLINE
BEGINNING:
Introduce the woman riding her bike through the trails outdoors, she stops to text her friend to join him. He comes riding through the trail and joins up with her. The two of them take off together.
MIDDLE:
As the two of them ride together through the beautiful nature and over bumps and jumps, they come across a great spot for a picnic. They stop and use their solar power to charge the bikes, and charge their devices. As they sit together they enjoy a short bite to eat of lunch they packed with them.
END:
The couple then leaves the picnic spot and rides off down the trail. As they ride, they near the end of the trail and stop to enjoy the setting sun, cracking open a couple of drinks that just complete the moment. Both of them beyond happy they were able to get out and enjoy the beautiful day together.
MOOD
We would aim to convey an adventurous, fast paced vibe throughout the videos, showcasing the sleek and enjoyable lifestyle of using the Obsidian bikes to take exploring the outdoors to a whole new level.
CHARACTERS
Here is the proposed look of the 6 characters we would aim to cast in our commercials to showcase a a variety of appearances.
VISUALS
Our visuals would be geared towards high end cinematic to represent the high quality feel of the brand.
LOCATIONS
These are the 5 examples of locations we would aim to utilize in our commercials, to show the variety of backdrops to showcase these bikes.
EDITING
Our editing style would take the viewer on a journey with the individuals, using a fast paced cutting in the edit.
We would covey a fun, but sleek and stylish approach to this utilizing a mix of different shots in handheld, gimbal, tripod and drone to tell a compelling story, with shots that follow the music, sound design, and voice over.
AUDIO
Music:
The music we would use in the commercial would be upbeat and driving. A contemporary score that conveys adventure, but also sophistication.
Sound Design:
We would aim to have a good emphasis on sound design throughout the video, hearing the sounds of the bike, the ambiance of the nature, and anything that helps bring the world in the commercial to life.
COLOR GRADING
The approach we intend to take for the color grade would be based on the feelings of stylish adventure. With deep blues and purples in the shadows and creamy golden tones in the highlights.
All of this would be subtly emulated from the classic teal and orange color scheme to create a world that feels exciting, but still authentic and relatable to the viewer.
